Like 26+2 Hot Yoga, Ashtanga follows a fixed sequence of postures, practised without music. Through repetition, breath and focused attention, the practice becomes more familiar and continues to unfold over time.
Rather than external heat, Ashtanga uses ujjayi breath, drishti (gaze) and bandhas (internal locks) to generate heat from within and draw the attention inward.
Over four Sundays, Bonnie will introduce you to the first half of the Ashtanga Primary Series in a led, beginner-friendly format.
Bonnie has practised yoga for 19 years, with much of that time dedicated to the Ashtanga lineage.
SUNDAYS 4–25 OCTOBER

Join Simon Lee for a three-hour introduction to Ayurveda — an ancient system of knowledge that explores our individual nature, our relationship with the world around us, and what brings us in and out of balance.
Through interactive discussion, Simon will explore the philosophical foundations of Ayurveda and its connection with Yoga, helping you gain greater awareness of your own unique makeup and practical tools for maintaining balance in modern life.
We’ll also explore the rhythms of nature and how we can adapt our lifestyle to work more closely with them, with time for questions and a short meditation practice.
No previous knowledge of Ayurveda is required. Please bring a journal and pen.
