A steady paced class, with more emphasis on set up of the pose, alignment once in the pose and exploring depth of the pose while maintaining regular breathing. A great way to maintain your practice, if you cannot make the Hot 90.

The result is a much deeper stretch and stimulation of the body's fascial network and a more quiet and focused mind. A 60-min class, sometimes practiced with relaxing music in a warm room and gently lit room, a great way to end the day.

It can be practiced on a Mat using your own body and sometimes small props, or on specialized Pilates Apparatus or Pilates machines (the Pilates Reformer is the most common). Part of the beauty of the method is that it can be modified to fit the needs and abilities of each individual practitioner.
